Chicken Heart Stew

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb chicken hearts

  • 16 oz diced tomatoes

  • 1 yellow onion

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 6 cups bone broth

  • 2 celery stalks

  • 2 carrots

  • 2 potatoes

  • 2 cups water

  • 1 tablespoon basil

  • Salt and pepper

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Clean and halve chicken hearts.

  2. Saute onion and garlic in butter and oil.

  3. Brown chicken hearts.

  4. Add remaining ingredients.

  5. Simmer 1 to 2 hours or cook in Instant Pot on slow cook for up to 6 hours.
