Freshly Flaked Oatmeal With Raw Milk

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soaked oat groats 🌾

  • 1/2 teaspoon whey 🥛

  • 2 cups raw milk 🥛

  • Pinch of mineral salt 🧂

Instructions

  1. Soak oat groats overnight for 8 to 10 hours in whey in a small glass jar with a lid. Shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds.

  2. In the morning, flake your oat groats. You should generate about 1 cup of freshly flaked oats.

  3. Add milk to a saucepan and cook on medium-high heat. Watch closely because it will spill over when it is about to boil. When it is about to boil, stir in the oats and simmer on low heat for 15 to 20 minutes until desired consistency is reached.

  4. Add whatever toppings you desire. Grass-fed butter is a favorite.
