Collagen-Rich Bone Broth

Instructions

1) Roast beef bones + 2 turkey feet for 40 minutes at 450 degrees F, turning over halfway.

2) Roughly chop 3 carrots, 3 celery stalks, 1 yellow onion, 4-6 cloves of garlic. Place all in large stockpot with 3 T of mineral salt and some pepper. Add 2-3 bay leaves, 2 rosemary sprigs, and 3-4 thyme sprigs.

3) Once bones are done roasting, place in stockpot and cover all ingredients generously with water.

4) Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 24-48 hours. The longer, the more gelatinous! I aim for 24 hours.

5) When finished, let pot cool for an hour. Strain into glass jars and place in fridge overnight before transferring to freezer.

6) Skim off the fat which accumulates on top before using bone broth. Enjoy!
